GET READY FOR ALIEN FROM MARVEL COMICS WITH NEW TRAILER

Alien is coming next month from Marvel Comics, featuring the publisher's first venture into the world of the horrifying Xenomorphs. Marvel promises the series from writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson, artist Salvador Larroca, and colorist Guru-eFX will explore never-before-seen corners of the Alien universe that will delight longtime fans and newcomers alike. Check out a trailer for the book featuring new artwork below.

The new series introduces us to Gabriel Cruz, a man who almost gave his life to Weyland-Yutani years ago...literally. He barely survived an alien attack. Now he's retired and he's looking to patch thigns up with his abandoned son with the help of a Bishop-model android. His re-entry into civilian live is not going well. To make matters worse, he's not done with the deadly Xenomorphs.

“As a lifelong superfan of the franchise, getting to write the launch of Marvel’s Alien was one of the biggest thrills of my writing career,” Johnson told Newsarama in a recent interview. “Alien coming to Marvel feels like the beginning of a new era for the franchise, especially with the announcement of the upcoming TV series, and the gravity of being the first writer of that era is definitely not lost on me. After all the amazing work Marvel has done with the Star Wars franchise, I know the fans want to see greatness come from Alien as well, as they should. We’re all giving everything we have to deliver on that, and I’m confident fans will love what they see.”

Alien #1 features a main cover by Inhyuk Lee. It's set for release on March 24th, 2021.
