GRAVEYARD SLAUGHTER TAKES US BACK TO '80S VHS GORE
Indie publisher Lunchbox Press has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the release of Graveyard Slaughter, a comic anthology that embraces the bloody madness and nostalgia of 80s VHS gore. The publisher has assembled a dream team of creators for this project. It’s co-written by Cullen Bunn and Kevin Watkins and features artwork from Javier Saltares, Blacky Shepherd, Gary Bedell, and Adam McLaughlin. Troy Peteri is lettering the book and it will feature an introduction by Paul Tremblay.
The Kickstarter campaign just launched and is already more than 20% to its funding goal. Rewards include digital and physical copies of the book itself (which clocks in at more than 50 pages), t-shirts, sketch covers, commissions, and more. It’s set to run through the month of June and Lunchbox Press intends to have the book ready by Halloween.
