Iris.Fall's new release date enters the light

Iris.Fall is an eerie game that combines 2D and 3D gameplay with dark, ‘vaudevillian’ visuals and the ability to switch between worlds of light and shadow. The game is in development by NEXT Studio, the creators of the award-winning Death Coming, and being published by Zodiac Interactive, who have announced that the release has been pushed back to 7 December 2018.
The release date has been pushed back to allow NEXT Studio to create an “immersive and gripping experience for the player. The extra time for the project will help [them] reach that goal. [They] want Iris.Fall to be a release that lives up to both the standards of players and [their] studio.” Understandable, really.
Along with the press release came a new trailer, showing off the game’s unique style:
Iris, the protagonist seen in the trailers above, will be led through a rundown theatre by a mysterious cat, solving puzzles across both the physical and shadow realms. Will you be joining her to solve these puzzles for yourself when the game releases on Steam on 7 December 2018?
