NIGHTMARE WORLD: VOLUME 4 COMING IN OCTOBER 2016

The first interview I ever conducted on Horror DNA was with writer Dirk Manning to talk about his Nightmare World series.  I binge read the first three volumes and then had to ask him where the fourth and final one was.  At long last, that question has been answered.  The writer announced via his newsletter that Nightmare World: Volume 4 will be released in October 2016.  This has been rumored for a bit, but now it's official.

Just in case you're not aware, Nightmare World began as a webcomic featuring a number of stories written by Manning and illustrated by a number of different artists.  Each tale was set in the same world and as you read on, the connections between them all began to be revealed.  Mr. Rhee made his first appearance here and was later spun off into his own series published by Devil's Due Entertainment.  The third issue of volume 3 is now available via Comixology and you can read a page a day for free online.

Details are sparse right now, but Manning has hinted that with the first three volumes now out of print, maybe it's a good time to publish a special Omnibus collecting all of the Nightmare World stories.  If its handled anything like his recent Kickstarter campaigns for special hardcover editions of the first two volumes of Tales of Mr. Rhee, I'm all for this.
