Nocterra will make its direct market debut in March from Image Comics. The series from writer Scott Snyder and artist Tony S. Daniel is set in a world covered in darkness. The publisher has revealed new variant covers by artist Greg Capullo, who worked with Snyder for some time on Batman. The cover will also be available as a 1:150 black and white version showing Capullo's inks.

Ten years after the world is plunged into an everlasting night that turns all living creatures into monstrous shades, the only way to survive is to stay close to artificial light. Here Nocterra introduces Valentina “Val” Riggs, a skilled ferryman who transports people and goods along deadly unlit roads with her heavily illuminated eighteen wheeler.
