ONCE & FUTURE #9 SELLS OUT; RUSHED TO 2ND PRINTING

Once & Future has only grown in terror and excitement and it's showing in its sales. Publisher BOOM! Studios has announced that issue #9 has sold out at the distribution level. A second printing, featuring a new cover by series artist Dan Mora and colorist Tamra Bonvillain, is on the way, due out later this month. The series is written by Kieron Gillen, illustrated by Mora, colored by Bonvillain, and lettered by Ed Dukeshire.

Once & Future #9 follows retired monster hunter Bridgette McGuire, her unsuspecting grandson Duncan, who protect their nation from legends and myths risen from the grave to battle for dominion over their land.

With Merlin—and the magic he wields—back at his side, King Arthur is stronger than ever. Brigette and Duncan continue to fight against Camelot’s dark forces, but when Merlin calls to life another story entirely, will the heroes manage to save the day? Or will they find themselves becoming the villains they’ve sworn to defeat?

"Once & Future consistently surprises readers at every turn so it’s important to us that fans get a chance to jump into the latest storyline with the action-packed issue #9,” said Filip Sablik, President, Sales and Marketing, BOOM! Studios. “Anyone looking for an adventure series with a badass action star granny and her clueless but game grandson—and who isn’t—needs to get started with this series crafted by master storytellers Kieron, Dan, Tamra, and Ed.”

Once & Future #9 Second Printing is due out on October 28th, 2020.
