SHUDDER'S OCTOBER LINEUP

Monday is October first and for many horror fans the start of a month long binge of their favorite genre (at least more than usual, right?). Some of go to their personal collections, some to Netflix, Hulu and/or Amazon Prime, and some – like me – do a combination of all, including arguably the best horror streaming service, Shudder.

Fans like me have a wide variety of films and shows on Blu-ray and DVD, but have holes in the collection, and that's where Shudder comes in. There are movies I either haven't gotten around to buying (Bug, Fido) or want to watch before I buy (Summer of 84, Revenge), and my subscription to Shudder comes through more often than not when I'm trying to figure out what I want to spend the next 90 minutes on.

Check out this month's lineup on Shudder!

He's the puppet master. You don't see him, but he pulls the strings that gets things done. He's the silent partner. He's black ops. If you notice his presence, it's the last thing you'll notice — because now you're dead. He's the shadow you thought you saw in that dark alleyway. You can have a conversation with him, and when you turn around to offer him a cup of coffee, he's already gone.
