SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #1 PREVIEW

Next month sees the debut of Something is Killing the Children, a new horror series from writer James Tynion IV and artist Werther Dell'Edera. Publisher BOOM! Studios has shared some additional preview pages of the first issue that paint a pretty terrifying picture. Don't forget that we saw a few pages from the initial announcement too. These new ones feature the first appearance of Erica Slaughter, a mysterious figure who comes into town saying she can stop the brutal murders that have town the community apart.

The local police and authority figures don't know what to make of Erica. She believes the local kids with their rumors of monsters in the woods. Can this “monster” hunter be trusted with the children's lives? Or is she an unhinged killer aiming to bring more tragedy to this town?

Something is Killing the Children is a chilling portrayal of the kind of horror that hides just under the surface of our world and what happens when we can finally see the monsters around us,” said Eric Harburn, Senior Editor, BOOM! Studios. “James and Werther have created a new horror series that will make you question everything you can see -- and what you’re terrified might be able to see you.”

Something is Killing the Children #1 is set for release on September 4th, 2019.
