The Red Mother is set to debut this week and it's already proving to be a hit. It already sold out of its first printing of the debut issue and now publisher BOOM! Studios has announced the second printing has sold out as well. A third printing is on the way of The Red Mother #1 from writer Jeremy Haun and artist Danny Luckert, with a new cover by Luckert.

There are dark things just beyond this reality. Horrors that we cannot quite see. Things wanting to get in. After losing her eye and the man she loves during a brutal attack in an alley, Daisy McDonough is left trying to put the pieces of her life back together. Just when she thinks she can start the process of healing and moving on, she begins to see strange things through her new prosthetic eye.

She can see the Red Mother. And the Red Mother can see her right back!

“Jeremy and Danny have proven their ability to weave truly frightening horror stories with their previous work  so it’s no surprise that fans can’t wait to get their hands on the first issue from this incredible team,” said Filip Sablik, President, Sales and Marketing, BOOM! Studios. “Danny has truly outdone himself with the brand new cover for the third printing, so if you’re looking for a thrilling new horror series to jump into, bring The Red Mother into your life.”

If you had pre-ordered The Red Mother #1, you should have a copy of it waiting for you at your local comic shop on December 11th, 2019. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until the third printing comes out on January 8th, 2020.
