We're only five issues into the series but Dark Horse is looking ahead to those of us who wait for the trade. The comic book adaptation of The Strain from Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan will get its first graphic novel on November 14th. The comic is written by David Lapham and illustrated by Mike Huddleston.

When a Boeing 777 lands at JFK International Airport and goes dark on the runway, the Centers for Disease Control, fearing a terrorist attack, calls in Dr. Ephraim Goodweather and his team of expert biological-threat first responders. Only an elderly pawnbroker from Spanish Harlem suspects a darker purpose behind the event—an ancient threat intent on covering mankind in darkness.
The comic has been pretty exciting so far and I'm looking forward to it wrapping up. Issue #5 hits stands next week on June 13th. I still haven't read the novels but I've heard nothing but great things about it.
What do you think about the upcoming trade paperback? Can you wait until November to get your first taste of The Strain?
