Archie, being depressed and lonely because his affair with Ms. Grundy is over, he throws himself at the feet of the Pussycats, mainly Valerie to help him hone his skills for his upcoming meeting with a songwriter. He does redeem himself this episode (a bit) by being a good friend to Jughead and asks him to live with him when he finds out that Jughead has been sleeping in the school. This episode really shows that Archie, when he isn't self absorbed in his own heartbreak, can be a good guy. I love this bromance that is building between Jughead and Archie. I was originally concerned we wouldn't get to this point but I'm happy they didn't ditch this classic storyline. However, Archie is still an idiot.

Veronica gets betrayed by idiot Archie further proving that he is the worst character on this show. He wanted to play a song with Valerie but she is performing with the Pussycats, so instead Veronica volunteers to take her place. When Valerie quits the Pussycats, Archie takes her back immediately without telling Veronica. In a rage, Veronica takes Valerie's place in the Pussycats, thus creating a bunch of unnecessary drama because Archie is Riverdale's Yoko Ono.

On to more interesting parts of this chapter. Jughead and Betty go on an adventure to find Polly, which they do and it turns out she has been locked away in a home for troubled youths. Except she's not crazy or troubled, she's pregnant and the Coopers would rather hide this issue than deal with it. When Betty confronts her parents about this, she also accuses her father of killing Jason Blossom. To which Alice laughs at directly in his face. "Him? You think that he killed Jason? Your father? You think that he has the stomach for that?" Having Polly as a recurring character is going to be a good turn of events in the show. Hopefully now we can find out what happened to Jason. Not to mention, it will be super fun to watch the Cooper family unwind further.

A new piece of information gets brought to life in this episode. Polly mentions that her and Jason hid a car outside of town but when the police get there, the car is up in flames. Someone is trying very hard to cover up Jason's murder.

The only good part about this episode was the introduction of Polly as an actual character. Not only will this affect her family but it will send a wrench into the Blossom clan as well. Riverdale is about enter a very cold winter.
